Foresea is pleased to announce that on December 06, the ultra-deepwater drillship Norbe VIII started a new contract with Petrobras. The rig started operating in the Marlin Sul field, in Campos basin – Brazil.

This contract was signed in September 2023 and has a backlog of approximately $ 450 million, including mobilization fee, and firm term of 1,095 days, with an option for renewal up to additional 1,095 days, contingent upon mutual agreement between the parties.

The start of operations follows the conclusion of a well succeeded SPS, which implemented a series of equipment and systems upgrades as an integrity campaign, in addition to some technological upgrades focused on efficiency and operational safety.

Foresea has its fleet 100% contracted, and in operation, and reinforces its commitment to maintain the very high operational and safety standards. The Company’s primary goal is to deliver maximum value to all its stakeholders.
